The Dead Zone Videodrome The Fly
Michael Lennick lives in Toronto Ontario. He has been involved in numerous SF movies and TV series. His visual effects credits include Videodrome, The Dead Zone, Millennium and the War of the Worlds TV series. Michael was also a technical consultant on The Fly. He has also won much praise and numerous awards for his many Discovery Channel specials including the science and history series Science Highway.

Michael has written a screenplay for a feature film version of Robert J. Sawyers novel Illegal Alien. According to Rob Sawyers web site "David Coatsworth, the producer who, along with Lennick, has optioned the Illegal Alien novel, has just finished being executive producer of Arnold Schwarzenegger's latest picture, and is currently working on a Tom Hanks film. He wants to move Illegal Alien to the front burner in the spring of 2001."

More recently Michael has been working on 2001 and Beyond. He told me the show is "a one-hour special that explores the making, impact and legacy of Kubrick and Clarke's masterpiece, 2001: A Space Odyssey. We'll go behind the scenes to trace the history of the project, and we'll consider some of its deeper implications in the light of current technological thinking." Michael has personally interviewed several people involved with 2001: A Space Odyssey including the legendary Arthur C. Clarke himself. 2001 and Beyond will premier on The Discovery Channel on Thursday January 4th, 2001 at 10:00 PM.
