eXistenZ The Fly The Dead Zone Videodrome
Filmmaker David Cronenberg was born in Toronto, Ontario. Known for writing and directing numerous weird SF movies. One of my personal favorites is Scanners which also starred Canadian actor Michael Ironside. (click here for exploding head but be warned it's graphic!). Also in his repertoire of "strange" is The Dead Zone, The Fly, Naked Lunch and Videodrome among numerous others. His most recent is called eXistenZ.
