Wrestler and actor Rowdy Roddy Piper (real name Roderick Toombs) was born in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. His most significant SF roles have been in John Carpenters: They Live, Jungleground, Sci-fighters and Shepherd (aka Cybercity). He also appeared as guest star in the TV series' Highlander, Robocop and The Outer Limits.
