Dan Aykroyd was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Dan only has a few contributions to the SF world. He reprised his Saturday Night Live character, Beldar Conehead, in the SF comedy Coneheads He also starred with Kim Basinger in the SF comedy My Stepmother Is an Alien. And we'll never forget his ambulance driving alien in Twilight Zone: The Movie. Dan also starred in Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. I should also mention that Dan was the host of the Canadian TV series PSI Factor.
